Tuesday the 2nd of October

"For my God shall supply all your needs..." Thank you all for your thoughts, prayers, financial help and love. I can't express how much you all mean to me. You are all a precious gift from God. Please keep praying and writing, it gives me much strength to face each new challenge. I appreciate your prayers for strength, courage and healing. It's hard to express but please know my love. My heart has been touched.
Love,
Lynne
Psalm 118.
PS. Tomorrow I am going to the Phillies playoff game with Randy, Dee and Sandy. Go Phils.

Here is another favorite chorus of mine....the name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run into it and are saved, blessed is the name of the Lord, blessed is the name of the Lord most high...I'm glad you are going to the Phil's game, hope they win. Love, Mom Ott

You are a great example to so many people. Thank you for the part you have played and are playing in my children's lives. There is no better life than to fully trust our Savior, Jesus--no matter what is going on in this old world or in our old (I can say that--I have a few months on you :) ) bodies. I am so glad that you get this day outside in the beautiful weather. You will love it!! I'll be looking for you today. Don't wear red--maybe we'll have better luck seeing you than we did finding Stanton when we were watching for him the other day!!! Go Phils!!! Love, Your OLD friend, Joan

Dear Lynne,

We love you, and being a family that has been so close, we all are hurting along with you. But remember Daddy always said, "You don't give up, and you always try to win." We sure don't know why this is happening but we know the One in charge. He has performed miracles in the past for our family and we believe He is not going to stop now. A verse I was given when Brett was born and didn't think would make it (17 years ago!) is true today: The Lord will perfect that which concerneth thee (Psalm 138:8).

Love,
Your Mom & Dad

Can you believe I actually watched some of the game today? I tried real hard to see you guys {and Matt and Sammy too} but no success. Hope you had a great time even though the Phils lost. It has been wonderful seeing the Lord working and answering prayers on your behalf. Of course, I'd rather you didn't have to go through this, but I look forward to the mighty moving of our God. He has something great in store. I just know it. Talked to a college friend last night who took Gemsar and Tarseva for a different type of cancer, but I was encouraged to hear it shrank her tumor to the point where she has been off all meds for six months and is doing well. It took her several weeks and three phone calls before her insurance company would approve it. Praise God for moving things along for you. Nance

Great time today, glad we were able to spend time together. Too bad our new Phillies shirts didn't do a thing at the plate!!(Howard, Utley, and Rollins!). Better get some rest tomorrow and have fun with Taylor! Love you all...Josh, Jen, Matt, Jamie, Luke, Amy, and Caleb too. oh yea, let's not forget Mr. Baseball himself, Randy! Love, Sandy for Dee also.

Lynne, Here's something I picked-up at the doctor's office several years ago when I was having radiation.
CANCER IS SO LIMITED
It cannot cripple love:
It cannot shatter hope:
It cannot corrode faith:
It cannot eat away peace;
It cannot destroy friendship;
It cannot kill confidence;
Ir cannot shut out memories;
It cannot silence courage;
It cannot invade the soul;
It cannot reduce eternal life;
It cannot quench God's spirit;
It cannot lessen the power
of the resurrection.

Praying tomorrow will go well for you. Love, Floss
