Monday the 23rd of September

Monday begins the chemo treatment at Geisinger. Please pray for our appointment with Dr. Sheldon and then our appointment with Dr. White who will be in charge of my mother's chemotherapy. The chemotherapy appointment begins at 2:00 pm and may last a couple of hours (at this point we do not know how long the treatment will take). Please commit to praying for my mom between 2 and 4 pm. Pray that God would use the chemotherapy to push back and eliminate the cancer cells. Pray that her healthy cells would remain strong and that she would heal as only the hand of God can heal. Also pray that the side-effects would be minimal if not abscent.

Thank you all for your prayers!

Tommorrow we go to war with this thing. Love you mom, we are all with you. You may be the one whose body is in this but all of our hearts (Josh, Jen, Taylor, Dad, Matt, Jamie, Luke, Caleb)and souls, and love, and strength and faith is right in this with you.
I am so glad you are my mom. I am proud of you. Love, Josh

We are praying as you begin your treatment. We are praying for physical and emotional strength for you and your family as you go through this trial. We are also praying that others would see God's grace through you. Love, Dale and Lynn

Lynne, You are in our thoughts and prayers. We pray that God will give the Doctors the wisdom to know the best treatment and that the One who knows, will wrap His loving and gentle arms around you as you travel this path.
We don't know how this insidious disease gets started, but we know that God is our help and our strength and He will be your strongest arm today and always.
Much love and prayers, John and Lyn Van Druff

Dear Aunt Lynne,

As Josh said, the physical battle against this cancer begins today. You come into the fight with a strong alliance of nurses, doctors, friends, churches, your family, you yourself, and the sovereign Lord of Hosts who acts in power on behalf of his faithful ones whom he loves and hears (I Samuel 2:1-10). May the Lord's name be magnified as the feeble once again gird on his strength and recieve his victory against the powers of this fallen world (vv.1,4).

Though we cannot really share in your physical pain, I pray that if he would, the Lord would grant you a share of strength that would otherwise have been allotted to me today, to his glory.

With Love,
Carson

Lynne,
Thinking and praying for you continuously. Hoping this first day was one step closer to a full healing. I'm asking that God will keep you from pain and sickness with this treatment. He reminded me of Psalm 91--"Surely He will save you from the fowler's snare and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart."
May He give you a restfull night tonight and strength for tomorrow.
I love you---your cousin.

Mrs. Ott,
Your family in Christ is stretched across the globe and our hearts are joined in prayer for healing and for your comfort. May God be glorified more and more as His faithful servant endures physical hardship. Yet we know that our hope awaits us in paradise. Our church family here in Illinois are lifting you up in prayer. You are not alone.
Love, Brett, Micah, Micayla, and Eli Frey
