Wednesday the 12th of March

We managed to get the doctors down here at Thomas Jefferson to drain mom's fluid today (with the help of some of mom's nurses). They drain 3800 milliliters. We hope that this has a profound impact on mom's comfort and quality of life.

What an answer to prayer! I have been praying many times today for the whole Ott family - for the strength and comfort only the Lord can provide and also for Lynne to be as pain free as possible.

Lord, Be with Lynne at this time. We don't know why Lynne is going through this but we do know that you are with her. Be with Lynne. Comfort her. Spread your loving arms around her. Guide the doctors and the nurses. Lord, be with the entire Ott family. Give them comfort, peace, and strength. Give them precious moments with Lynne. Every moment is a gift from you God. Lord, we love the Ott family. Be with them in a very special way. Amen

Lynne, Randy, & family: NOTHING (not chemo, not radiation, not cancer, and not the homegoing of a son and brother)"will be able to separate (you) from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus (your) Lord." It's that love that we're praying will surround and overshadow each of you.

None of you know me, I knew your mom many years ago when she use to babysit my brother and I. I know your grandparents and your mom's sisters.
She has been in my constant thoughts and prayers and I pray for comfort and peace for all of you.

Dear Randy,Lynne and Family, I am in constant prayer for all of you. I cannot get you off my mind. I am so glad we all know the Lord. Even though we do not understand any of this, there is comfort in knowing that He is in control and that He has not left or forsaken any of us. I am also thankful for this Blog as it is my lifeline to all of you and helps me to pray specifically for your needs. I love you all, Geri

I came upon your website while doing some research about pancreatic cancer. My heart aches for what the Ott family is experiencing right now and over that last several months. My prayers are with Lynne and her entire family. I pray that Caleb is there in spirit to comfort and hold Lynne's hand throughout this terrible time. Amy
