Friday the 14th of March

Mom passed away at about 10:20 this morning. Her fight is over and she is resting in heaven with her son Caleb, whom I am sure greeted her with his famous grin and a big hug. Thank you for your prayers and support.

The family is having a peacful time together. We are not quite ready to receive sympathy calls from anyone. Please give us a few days to be with eachother and to rest.

Randy, Josh, Matt, Luke and extended family members:
On Jordan's stormy banks I stand
And cast a wishful eye
To Canaan's fair and happy land,
Where my possessions lie.
I am bound for the promised land,
I am bound for the promised land,
Oh who will come and go with me?
I am bound for the promised land.
No chilling winds or poisonous breath
Can reach that healthful shore;
Sickness and sorrow, pain and death, Are felt and feared no more.
When I shall reach that happy place,
I'll be forever blest,
For I shall see my Father's face,
And in His bosom rest.

I am IN the promised land.

Our prayers surround you,
Doug, Char, Kristin & Dave Rogers

Randy, what a great testimony of a special love you and Lynne had together. It was a love like no other. I pray that your love will trickle down to the next generations. It was a love that showed your bond with Christ. It was truly a marriage of three.

My prayers are with your entire family and also with the Baldwins. They have truly lost a special daugther

Randy,Josh, Matt, Luke,

No words can express how heavey my heart is for the loss of Lynne. But my grief leads me to a place of quiteness in the Lord that provides a peace knowing that will join Lynne one day. In my grief I know that she is in the Glory of the Lord and in that place the Jesus has prepared for all his children. May God give as all a supernatural peace that only He can give.

Love You All,

Dennis and Linda

Our hearts are heavy with the news of Lynne's passing. May your hearts and minds be comforted with the thought of Lynne's happiness in heaven now with Jesus. She is now reunited with Caleb and their joy is beyond our comprehension. God's peace to all of you.

Josh & Family, My heart is breaking for you and Matt, Luke and your dad. I can't imagine your pain at your loss of two people so close to your heart. I've got no words of wisdom that others haven't already told you, I'm sure. So I won't even try any cliche's or meaningless phrases. Just know that my family has been praying for you and the family for months. Your mom has always been special to me and, though I didn't know Caleb very well personally, his memorial page tells me how great of a young man he was. Your family can be proud of the LEGACY your mom and Caleb left, a legacy in which you, Matt, Luke and your dad have the privelege of carrying on.
Your brother in Christ, and friend forever,
Brett, for Micah, Micayla, and Eli, and #3 baby

Though overwhelming sadness and compassion for all your family fills my heart, I keep thinking about a famous illustration. I forget the whole thing, but the gist of it is...A group of people were gathered on shore to wave good-bye to their loved ones who were setting off for the new world. As the ship's mast sailed below the horizon, they said sadly, "There she goes." At that very second, the people on the other shore got their first glimpse of the ship sailing toward them. With great excitement and joy, they shouted, "Here she comes." There was great joy and excitement in heaven this morning when Lynne came home. May God grant comfort and peace to her family and friends standing on the other shore.
With much love, Nance and Chip

Randy, Josh, Matt, Luke, Marge Ted, and families,

What a wonderful gift from God to have had the love and care of the extended family that you showed Lynne.
I know of your great attentiveness to Lynne in her time of deepest need and I know how much that loving gratitude was cherished by her.
In the days and weeks to come, take comfort in knowing that you were the most wonderful family that she could ever have had and that while there is grief and pain on earth, she is Healed and in the magnificant glory of the Lord for all time. No pain ever!
AS Christians, that is our destiny, earth is just a stop along the way.
It is the "Great hope that lies within us".

God gives us such love for one another so that we can begin to understand His love for us. Take refuge in that Love.
We will do anything that you would like us to do to help you through this. Please be in touch when you are able.

The Lord keeps bringing you (Randy, Josh, Matt, and Luke) to my mind so many times a day, and every time I offer up a prayer that the Lord will comfort and sustain you through this very difficult time as only He can. Lynne was such a wonderful person. It was such a pleasure to work with her at CCS. The Lord worked through her to touch so many lives - children and adults alike. She was also such an excellent role model of a godly wife and mother. May God hold you in His arms of love as you go through this time of grief and loss.

Thinking of you all every minute of the day. Sandy and I were talking yesterday about how we prayed for a miracle, that God would heal Lynne this side of heaven. Even though He took her to Himself now, we were sharing how many miracles had happened since Lynne became ill. We are grateful for those miracles and thankful that so many have heard the Gospel and have come to know Jesus as a result. Lynne was that gentle, quiet spirit of Proverbs 31 and what a Godly heritage she came from. Christ shines so brightly through you all. We love you so much!!!!!!!

Pastor Randy, Josh, Matt and Luke,
In your saddest moments, just remember that Lynne no longer needs IVs or even vitamins. She has no need of anything. Neither does Caleb. They are happy with Jesus. There is no better place! Hold that thought because it's their Savior's promise!
Our prayers are with your family. We pray for your comfort and peace.
