I just wanted to offer my deepest condolences to you entire family. I know that losing just one loving member of your family is very disturbing and cannot imagine how difficult it must be to lose two in the same month. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

How do you thank someone that lived her life for others everyday? How do you thank her for her smile, her hugs and her encouragement? How do say thank you to her for being there when your life is falling down around you and no one else is there? How do you thank her for showing you how to live and who to live for?

Thank you Lynn. Thank you for living for Him.

Thank you Lynn for sowing the seeds in my life that would blossom into a mission and a calling.

Thank you Lynn for the countless hours of wonder that you brought in my life as a little boy.

Thank you Lynn for showing me the value of entertainment and how it can be used to show people what we believe in.

Thank you Lynn for always begin there.

Thank you Lynn for loving my sister, she needed you so much.

Thank you Lynn for your sons who are so close to me.

Thank you Lynn for being a loving wife who stood beside the greatest man I’ve ever had the privilege to know.

Thank you Lynn for showing me how to cling to the Lord even when He doesn’t make sense.

Thank you Lynn for the many hours of laughter and joy around the family table and in the living room.

Thank you Lynn for sharing the Gospel with me everyday.

Thank you Lynn for everyone that I’ve had the courage to share my faith with either through my talents or a conversation because you showed me how.

Thank you Lynn for showing me how to live well.

Thank you Lynn.

I love you.

Josh: Just a personal note to you. Thank you for offering this blog during your mom's illness. It kept our prayers up-to-date. My wife and I thought your reflections at the service were absolutely awesome! There's nothing more difficult than being a son and speaking at your own mother's funeral. I've been there before, and I know the emotions you were dealing with. Lynne would have been proud, and - if it's possible for those in heaven to catch a glimpse of their homegoing service - she would have cheered you on. Thank you for being a great source of blessing. My hat is off to you (as it is to your dad and your brothers)!
