Wednesday the 14th of November

Today is Lynne Ott's Birthday. The birthday girl turned 57 years young today. To start her birthday celebration mom was treated to a (very long overdue) pedicure by a friend. She is relaxing at home at least until Grammy, Poppy and Aunt Sandy get up from Philly. Tonight we are having a family celebration and tons of fun. Wish her a Happy B-Day and continue to keep her in your prayers. Thank you all for all of your love and support.

Dear Mrs. Ott,

Your son Luke talked about you in class yesterday during a discussion on health care in relation to a film we viewed. I am Luke's professor and a cancer survivor myself (leukemia). First I wanted to wish you a happy birthday and second to thank you for raising such a wonderful young man.

May you continue to have strength and love to deal well with your new life situation. Drink lots of water to flush the chemo from your body, get some exercise if you can, eat even if you are not hungry, and laugh as much as possible.

A Sister in Survival,
Dr. Peg Speirs

Hi Lynne,
Told my class that it was your birthday this past week. We are continuing to pray for you. They always ask how you are doing.
I pray that all of you-Baldwins, Otts, and Adcocks will have a terrific Thanksgiving up the mountains together.
Betty Harris said to let you know that she has been praying for you, too.
Contiue to count those many blessings, name them one by one and as I like to add, "weigh them ton by ton!" From seeing all those
blogs...the Lord has certainly richly blessed you!!! Your cup overflows with people who love you and care!! I am one of them! Jane
and her 2nd grade cubs at CGCA
