Friday the 2nd of November

Mom was able to receive her chemotherapy treatment today. All of her blood counts were up! Her weight has dropped a little, this could be from the chemotherapy, the cancer, the diet or because she eats like a mouse and doesn't know where the stove is.

Three shots to maintain her white blood cell count will continue through this week. Dr. White has been encouraged by mom's ability to continue on the seven week straight plan. Please pray for the upcoming cat-scan test which will be conducted in the near future and the upcoming 7th treatment. Thank you all for your love and supprt. We love you all.

Lynne, Our God is so amazing. There was never a doubt, He is so faithful. He is preparing us to step out for Him, our of our security blankets and comfort zones. Focus on Him and not the disease! The church secretary yesterday reminded me simply the phrase, "I AM He"" Have a great , restful weekend! I'm off to the poconos with the youth. Love, Sandy or Sunny Adcock!!!

Praise God! He answered exactly what Chip and I asked for this AM--increased blood levels, safe travel, administering of the chemo...Hey, how about your weight? Warning: it's my turn to bring your family a meal on Saturday. Of course, they will be my guinea pigs! Well, not entirely. Our family has given the recipe thumbs up, but it definitely isn't the usual thing I would bring. Are you intrigued guys? Hope you have a great weekend. I admit I wouldn't mind being in the Poconos too--seeing my mom, that is! Nance

Lynne, Hope things are going well for you and your family. I hope when Lance gets home at Thanksgiving time, He and I can get down to see you. I guess you know I had my knee replaced and unable to do or go anywhere, so I figure by then he and I should be able to get down for a visit. I will keep you in my prayers and thoughts. Love Sandy
