Thursday the 27th of December

Mom heads to Geisinger to start her new treatment today at 2:00. Luke will be making the trip with her. There will not be any blood tests or appointments today just the treatment. This new treatment takes a lot longer to administer and has more side effects. Please remember mom in your prayers, especially in the next few days as we see how she will react to this treatment. Thank you all for your love and support. Happy holidays.

Hi Honey

It was hard not being there with you today, though I know Luke will take great care of his mother.

You are the same spunky gal I married. That same spirit of competition that often beat me on the ping pong table will now help us get through the challenge of our lives with the Lord's help.
It is that great spirit of yours that is adding so much zest to our marriage.

Love

Randy

I felt bad that Randy wasn't able to be with you today but praise God for Luke and the rest of your sons.

You brought them up in the Lord and they need to be able to show their love to you too. This is a way for them being able to give back all that you have done for them. They love you and so do I

Praying for your comfort and peace.

Love Mickey

Dear Lynne,

I received your Christmas letter today and went immediately to your blog. I am in awe of your spirit (I can picture you playing field hockey and tennis in high school with that fiesty spirit and zest for life you are calling on now!), the love and support of Randy and your sons, their wives, and the church community. You are blessed! Count me now in that circle that surrounds you with love and prayers. Much love to you, dear heart. I would love to visit, and will call you to see when would work best for you.

Dear Lynne,
It was so great to be with you this weekend and share a little Christmas!! You can be sure I'll be praying for strength for you this week, as you seek continued wisdom concerning the diet. Praying that God would show himself mighty as the chemo battles the cancer. And praying especially for God's will in all things and a peace that passes understanding! Rest in Him!
Love you! Margy
