Thursday the 13th of December
Mom's cat scan results were reviewed today by Dr. Sheldon, our surgeon. His reading of the cat-scan shows that there has not been any more growth from the tumors in mom's body. They are not, for the time being, shrinking, but the report is encouraging considering that in early September the tumors were growing at a very rapid pace. The lymph nodes in mom's body also looked a bit healthier, which is more encouraging news. The doctors are remaining cautiously optimistic. And we will continue to pray form mom's healing. The treatment plan will most likely continue as it has been. We will meet with the chemotherapy doctor, Dr. White, to review mom's case next week. Thank you all for you love and support. Please continue to pray for mom as she fights this disease.

Keep your chin up. God is in Control. Hang in there eventhough your arms may get tired remember the story of Moses and Joshua holding his arms up through the battle. We are holding your arms up to win this battle

That is awesome news. My mother-in-law, went for about 8 years without shrinkage. Her chemo did the same. It kept them from growing. Although it isn't the same type of cancer, I do know that no new growth is great news. Keep up the good fight. We are constantly thinking of you and praying for your family.

We will continue to pray. Remember the Lord will not take you through anything you can't handle. Keep your focus on Him and not the treatments. He will build your faith through this trial. Dear Aunt Lynne,
I'm thankful to hear some news that I think should be seen as positive and even encouraging. It seems that the Lord would have us all endure in this fight for another round, and I am thankful for the opportunity. I trust he will provide this endurance. The Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength (Isaiah 40:28b-29). I look forward to what he has ahead for his children (and especially you) as, whatever the next step is, he displays the victory that is ours in him, to his glory (Romans 8:27).
All right mom, thats a win. Own it, it is yours. Now we start another phase in the treatment. Love you very much, and I am very proud of you.

Just wanted to share a prayer:
"Father, You told me not to be afraid because You are with me, You will uphold me, and those who come against me will not succeed. (Isaiah 41:10-11). You said no evil would come upon me, nor any plague touch my home for You have ordered Your angels to protect me. (Psalm 91:10-11). You said when I walk through rivers of difficulty (when I'm 'in over my head') You won't let me drown, and when I walk through fires of adversity (when 'the heat is on') You won't allow me to get burned for You are watching over me. (Isaiah 43:2-3). You said no weapon formed against me shall prosper. (Isaiah 54:17). I cannot keep the enemy's weapons from being formed, but I know You will keep them from prospering. You said if I ask anything according to Your will, You would grant my request. (1 John 5:14-15).
